BellaBand -Maternity Band

BellaBand Bundle (3 Pack)

You know those annoying women who claim that they wore their own pre-pregnancy jeans the entire time they were pregnant? Well, I was one of them, but not because I stayed thin the whole time. it was because I had a secret weapon.  I bought the BellaBand Bundle (3 Pack) early on in my pregnancy and I am so glad that I did.  I think I paid around $70 for the three pack, and you get a choice of colors.  I went with the white, chocolate and black combo because I felt it would match just about everything.

I was working in an office right up until the very end and I had to dress professionally for my job.  It was fun for a little while to keep buying new clothes, but it started to drain my wallet.  Most women understand how difficult it is to keep up two separate wardrobes one work and one casual.  It's even more difficult when you start to feel like a sausage in your dress slacks, or when your jeans look great on your butt, but aren't even close to being able to button.

Search Market ShareI was lucky enough to gain most of my weight in my belly, so it was great to be able to wear my own jeans unbuttoned and just slide the Bella Band over them.  I like that they come in so many colors because they can stick out of the bottom of a t-shirt, or sweater and it just looks like a tank sticking out . It works great to hide the hardware from your unbuttoned or unzipped pants, so there is no strange bulking in the front.  This made me happy, because I liked to show off my belly instead of covering up in long, baggy shirts.

Even if you gain weight in your hips, butt, and thighs, you can just go up a bit in your pants size and wear the band to keep them up.  This way you can get far more use out of one pair of pants.  It is great for holding up dress pants too.  Anyone who has ever wrestled with maternity clothing knows that none of them fit perfectly because manufacturers mass produce them.  No two women are alike, though, and no two women's bodies change in the same ways.

I am tall, and found that a lot of maternity pants were too short.  With the BellaBand Bundle (3 Pack) I could wear just about anything. I also know short women who were equally satisfied with the performance of this belly band.  It even works great for skirts!  It was also an added and unexpected bonus that it gave my ever growing belly some support, but that it wasn't one of those bulky maternity belts.

I wore mine even after I had my daughter when I was in that awkward in-between stage.  My big clothes were too big, my small clothes were too small, but with the bella band I was very comfortable in whatever I threw on.

I think three is a good number to have because you can rotate them.  While one is in the wash, you can wear one, and have one for back-up.  For the price, you are getting quality and quantity, which is nice.  I haven't tried any other belly bands because I was lucky enough to try this one first, but I have heard from other people that this is the best one on the market.

Whether you plan on working to the end, or you have the ability to stay home during your pregnancy, it is so important to feel good about yourself.  Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and you should always feel like you look great.  With the BellaBand Bundle (3 Pack) you will always look put-together even if you don't feel like you are.

As a mom of a two year old, I know how precious your baby's nap time can be. Whether you are a new mom in desperate need of sleep, or the parent of a toddler whose house looks like a bomb hit it, that time is precious and well deserved.

I can remember the first months when my daughter was napping, I had intentions of getting things done. I would patiently await her nap time with grand plans of doing the dishes, vacuuming, napping, or even showering, but the protective mom in me would kick in and I felt nervous being far away from my daughter for too long. I spent so much time trying to decipher […]

How to choose the best Breastpump

If you are planning to breastfeed your baby, you will most likely need to buy a breast pump. While there are many different kinds out there ranging from the single manual pumps, to the small electric ones, I have found that the Medela Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump with Backpack is the way to go.

I can honestly say that out of all of the breastpumps I had tried, this was the only one that felt so close to nursing my own baby, which helped a great deal. At first I was using a simple manual pump, and it was so frustrating because I couldn't seem to keep my milk flowing. After that I switched to a small electric single pump, and it was a little bit better, but it seemed to only get my milk flow going for a very short time.  The unnatural feel of  them seemed to make it very difficult for me psychologically.[…]
